Hi! My name's Avery, I'm a Virginia based photographer with a passion for capturing the moments that mean the most. I've always loved how a photo can preserve a memory, feeling, or moment in time that you may otherwise forget. Whether it's a major milestone, a special celebration, or simply a season of life you want to preserve, I believe those moments deserve to be captured authentically. 

 

While photography is the main focus of my work, I'm also a James Madison University Media Arts and Design graduate with experience across a variety of creative fields. My background has allowed me to explore everything from storytelling and content creation to different forms of media and communication, giving me a well-rounded creative perspective that I bring to every project. So, while photography may be where I feel most at home, I love getting creative in any way I can. Whether you need behind-the-scenes content, a video editor, or help bringing an idea to life, I'm your girl!

My goal is to create more than just beautiful photos, I want to create an experience that feels comfortable, personal, and true to you. I know being in front of a camera can sometimes feel intimidating, so I strive to make every session fun and relaxed while capturing the genuine connections and little moments that make your story yours.

Based in Virginia and inspired by the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, I love meeting new people, exploring new places, and having the opportunity to tell stories through my eyes. At the end of the day, I hope my photos give you something you can look back on. I hope they transport you back to that exact moment: the laughter, the excitement, the people around you, and all of the little feelings that made the day so special. Years from now, I hope you can look at your photos and, even just for a moment, feel exactly how you felt that day all over again.
